The seafood pasta was simply amazing, truly the best I've had in Northern Italy. the Wi-Fi was frustratingly weak, which was a letdown during my stay.

balcony overlooking the beautiful sea, easy walk along the boardwalk to shops, direct beach access
The toilet was stuck in flush mode the entire night!!! The hotel feels dated and could really use some updates to its furnishings!!! Parking spaces are limited, forcing guests to search for street parking nearby!!!

We did all of our travel by train in the Italian Riveria and the hotel location was just a short walk form the train station. The beach is beautiful and you have your choice of public or private areas to catch some sun and swim. We chose to pay 15 euro to the private club because you could get your beach chairs, towels, food and drinks all in one spot. On Thursday's there is a market that sets up till 1:30 p.m. and it has anything you would desire. The "Old Town" which is a few meters up the hill in back of the hotel takes you way back in time with a beautiful church, cobblestone paths, quaint resturants and homes that have been in families for over 100 yrs. We also took a one hour train ride to Nice, FR, had lunch and worked our way back (another 30 min. on train) and had dinner in Monte Carlo! All in all great hotel.
The breakfast could have been a little more complete but still a good value for the money. But the biggest rip off was the night before we departed we had requested a large taxi for 5 people and luggage to take us to the train station. Even though it was close we just wanted the ease of a taxi for the early morning departure. The gentleman at the desk said he would order a "bus" for us. The next morning a small taxi arrived and had to make 2 trips to the train station and charged us 40 euro's. Extreme rip off for a few blocks. We are hoping the hotel will credit our account for this!

Hotel as a whole is lovely cozy, I enjoyed it.
Every time in Bordighera, I choose this place. The hotel is clean and the room is airy and new-fashioned. It has very kind and pleasant staff at the reception desk. The location is central, in front of a cathedral and a church. The property is close to the nice area and it's in front of bars and restaurants. The restaurant is great for lunch or dinner.

The location is lovely, although one might think that means soundproof rooms, right? Wrong! A live DJ blasting until 1 am, really? + The toilet wouldn't stop flushing, like, honestly. Expected a room upgrade for all the trouble, but apparently, special treatment is out of style here. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The desk staff ath this little hotel was amongsth the pleasantest I've ever encountered in many decades of travelling in Europe. The little hotel itself is unpretentious, pretty, and quiet. I'd go back any time.
